Trying to get back to blogging

I love to read blogs, but I haven't been very good about updating mine. I hope to do better in the future if I can figure it out again. August and September have been busy at the Bookey house. Dennis and I both attended our 40 year High School reunions. Mine was in Spokane, so I met the girls and their family's at Priest Lake. Billy, Alyson, the boys, and I went to Silverwood one day. I had a blast going on rides with Carson and Weston. We had a great visit at Katie's and Travis' new townhome in Seattle while we attended Dennis' reunion. We celebrated 33 years of marriage on August 30th and our treat was to pick up Katie and Travis at the airport for an Alaskan adventure. We then went to the aiport the next day to pick up Alyson and the boys. All 7 of us got in our motorhome and went out for the Labor Day weekend. We celebrated Dennis' birthday in style at Benihana's. The boys loved the cooking show and of course the ice cream. I now need to figure out how to add pictures as they are on my phone, and ipad. I had better get busy and put all my pictures on my computer. Sherrill

Mexico

This was on our bed when we arrived in Mexico. We spent a week at our timeshare in Zihuatenejo. It is a small place, with a beautiful view of the bay. It was a very relaxing week. We were able to walk into town. We spent some time in Ixtapa, it was a quick cab ride.

Maui

I think I am getting this post out of order. I guess that's what happens when you try to update your blog and are way behind in entries. We spent a week in Maui with Brian and Renee in October.Brian is Dennis' older brother. We had a blast and tried many great restaurants. It was a very relaxing week, of coarse I had a one track mind, I was always staring at any babies in strollers.

The Twins are identical and they are Boys!

We went to Boise for Thanksgiving. We attended a party to find out the sex of the twins. Alyson's friend Tiffany made a cake. The frosting in between the layers would tell us the sex of the twins. They are boys. We are so blessed to be having twin grandsons. I had a feeling that they would be boys. I only brought boy clothes to Boise, of course I included the recipts in case I was wrong. So glad I was right and would not have to return any clothes.

What will they be? Two boys, two girls, a boy and a girl? It will be fun to find out the sexes of the twins. Here are some pictures of my friend Linda and I shopping, not knowing what they will be.

New Kitchen is in

Where has the time gone. Just as the kitchen was done, we received the best news of our lives. Alyson and Billy are expecting twins. Alyson is due April 20th. Wow it has been so long, I hope I remember how to update this blog.

My new kitchen

With no counter tops, sink, or dishwasher what is a girl to do. You move into your mud room. The utility sink is your sink and dishwasher. Your washer and dryer are your counter tops, until you need to do laundry. Works pretty well. We still have use of the stove, microwave, refrigerator, and trash compactor. It's funny the things you miss, like our instant hot water dispenser.
